Zack Snyder shared a good quality version of a black and white photo of Henry Cavill wearing a replica of Christopher Reeve’s iconic Superman costume.
The photo was shared on Snyder’s Vero social media account, and was taken back when Cavill was testing for the role for “Man of Steel”.
Snyder is quoted as explaining, “If you can put on that suit and pull it off that’s an awesome achievement. [Henry] walked out, and no one laughed. Other actors put that suit on, and it’s a joke, even if they’re great actors. Henry put it on, and he exuded this kind of crazy-calm confidence that just made me go ‘Wow.’ Okay: This was Superman.’”
